2019 Blog Content Planner + What’s New on MotherAnt.com

Hey, guys! Are you excited to know what Mother Ant is about to do this 2019? I want to share with you in this post a glimpse of my blog content planner just to inspire you to create yours if you haven’t yet, or to inspire you if you are doubting your own blog content calendar.

If you are thinking that it’s already late for you to plan for 2019, let me tell you, setting your goals and planning doesn’t always have to be done in the beginning of the year. So, if you are reading this blog post in June or September, it’s not yet too late. No matter when you decide to launch your own blogging business, this post is for you.

Are you ready? Please read on and let me know in the comments section which part of this post got your interest the most.

Blogging Consistently

I get asked often how to blog consistently. I, myself struggled with this last year so this year, I made this promise to MotherAnt.com that I’m gonna show up to you (my audience every Friday with a new blog post. You might say, “I saw this post and it was published Saturday.” Yes, that’s one of the things I want to discuss in particular. If you read my e-mail, I explained why I haven’t published a post yesterday (Friday). I had to migrate this website to a new host ahead of time (I scheduled to do it today). I switched my schedule because my old host kept on sending me messages to renew my subscription. I was afraid I will lost my site so I made this split-second decision. You know what? I guess I made the right decision because just a while ago before I started writing this post, I tried logging in to my old host and I can’t access my files anymore. Blogging consistently doesn’t always mean you have to pressure yourself to publish on time. You will hear successful entrepreneurs out there saying, “you should stick to your schedule.” That is because they have already passed this struggles. I am certain, one time during their starting period, they also experienced switching schedules. Especially these kinds of situations. Good for you, you read this blog post, right? When one day, you will encounter such, do not feel guilty for not following your schedule. What’s important is, that you have published a blog post for that week or month (depending on how often you commit to do it). We are going to talk more about blogging consistently next week. If you are interested to hear what I just shared with the VI Moms about this topic, watch the video below.

e-Mail Marketing

I kept asking if you love receiving e-mails from me and you always answered, “Yes.”

Because of that, I again wrote in my 2019 blog content planner to send at least two e-mails per week every Fridays and Saturdays.

Fridays, to inform you that a new blog post is already published; and

Saturdays, to let you know if there are announcements.

However, you will receive other e-mails from me even if it’s not Friday or Saturday especially when I am launching a new product or introducing a new gig.

One example will be the Work from Home Business and Career (WBC) for Filipinos podcast or the Mother Ant Show. Let’s talk more about that below.

By the way, are you already in my list? Enter your e-mail address below to receive your FREE Blogging 101 e-book + 7 more surprises.

Podcasting

podcasting for filipinosJust to give you a simple definition, podcasting is another way of content distribution  in audio form. The listener can download the podcast (audio) and listen to it even without internet connection and during her most convenient time.

I decided to put this in my 2019 Goals because I wanted to reach more Filipinos that can benefit from the contents that I am sharing. I also thought it will be a new skill to develop so that in time, I can talk and teach you about it too. 🙂

In my blog content planner, I marked February 8 as my launch date. I hope to see you there. Expect me to send you an e-mail reminder too!

This will be most helpful to moms like me and busy entrepreneurs.

While I am writing this blog post, I have my washing machine on. From time to time, I stand up and check it tapos habang nagbabanlaw ako, I listen to podcasts from my favorite shows. They say, multi-tasking can decrease your productivity and sometimes I agree pero this time, I can see that I can do these two things (listen to podcast while doing the laundry).

I believe some of you can relate, so mark your calendars now and check me out on Spotify this February 8. The title of my show will be – “Work from Home Business and Career for Filipinos”

This is a promise, I am going to share with you my experiences in this podcasting journey soon. I even have someone on the list to interview about it and he already said yes. Abangan!

Mother Ant YouTube Channel

If you remember, I mentioned in the previous blog post that I will do my best to create video and audio versions of my blog posts. It was actually in my 2019 Goals.

Meaning, every Friday, you will expect new blog posts with audio and video recordings.

You will notice that this blog post has no video and audio versions yet since hindi ko pa masyadong gamay iyong mga editing softwares but before this quarter ends, I will make sure na ma-perfect ko na iyong content creation checklist ko. 🙂

If you have not subscribed to the Mother Ant channel yet, I appreciate you checking it here. I have already uploaded other videos there that might help you in your blogging business.

Other Plans and Goals

Aside from my top 5 plans mentioned above, I also want to share other goals and dreams I have written inside my blog content planner this 2019.

Bakit ko nga ba shini-share sa inyo ang mga plans ko for my blogging business? Because I know that it helps a lot kapag may accountability partner ka.

So, yes, since you read this blog post, you will be one of my accountability partners. You can send me a message anytime to remind me:

“Where’s your podcast this week?”

“Where’s your YouTube video this week?”

“I haven’t received an e-mail last Friday, why?”

and things like those. I welcome any message because I want to serve you with the best that I can.

Inside my Blog Content Planner

  • Hire Help – This kept on popping out of my mind. Last year, I have hired writers for a client and then later on, I hired content writers for my blog. I admit, they were a great help and this year, I am planning to hire long-term partners in my journey. For this quarter, I am going to study my blogging business workflow first so that I know what I will need most and what tasks to delegate.
  • Grow Audience – At this moment, I have 1,127 followers in the Mother Ant Page and 1000+ e-mail subscribers. I want to grow this audience to 3,000 Facebook followers and 5,000 e-mail subscribers by the end of 2019.
  • New Products – I promise to publish 1 new e-book on the third quarter of 2019. Abangan niyo na lang po ang title. I will also update the Blogging e-Course and create a Master Class for each specific skill.
  • Collaboration – In my last blog post, I shared with you how I conquered my fear in speaking in public and on live videos. This year, I will be open to more speaking engagements. Since I have already spoken in front of 3 small groups and hosted various video interviews last year, my goal is to speak to at least 5 seminars/conferences this year.

Conclusion:

Like I said earlier, there is no specific time to set your goals and plan for your business. To be honest, I kept updating my list whenever appropriate.

I believe that planning before executing something is very important. It keeps things organized and will keep you away from all the overwhelm. It will also help keep you motivated.

Aside from these goals for my blogging business, I have also set personal/spiritual goals, family goals, and education goals.

I have included this page in the 2019 Printable Planner you can get below. Get it now and start writing down your goals and plans for this year. Good luck!
